You are invited to attend a day of educational and networking opportunities in Armidale, NSW to increase your knowledge of Wagyu nutrition and genetics. A one-day event, the morning and early afternoon sessions will be focussed on genetics and nutrition workshops from guest speakers.
The day promises to be informative and an opportunity for full members to contribute to the function of the Association.

Managing director of Integrated Animal Production will speak on the importance of early life nutrition for marbling.
Ms Catriona Millen
Technical officer at SBTS will give insights into optimising data recording to improve BREEDPLAN results.
Dr Brad Walmsley
Research officer at AGBU will speak more about the development of BreedObject Indexes and its application to the Wagyu industry.
Well known for his BreedLink operation for beef cattle breeding will speak about using genetic selection tools for Wagyu breeding.
Aaron van den Heuvel
Carcase Camera Technician with the AWA will outline the introduction of the MIJ camera for objective carcase measurement and outline the preliminary results achieved to date.
Hosted by the AWA and sponsored by Rangers Valley the dinner represents an opportunity to relax with friends and catch up with colleagues activities and forecasts for the AWA.
